Kraus KPF-2110 Review

Kraus KPF-2110 1

When I buy any product I look for durability first, and that’s where the Kraus KPF-2110 really shines. Both the base and the pull-out spray head are heavy-duty stainless steel. This is a product built to last. Stainless steel will match with any kitchen décor and will be easy to clean. Not only is the outside durable, but this faucet has a much stronger spray than most faucets—great for peeling off those stubborn bits of food from last night’s dishes.

Pros:

Heavy-duty faucet with a heavy-duty spray. Everything about this product is high quality.
Cons:
The instructions aren’t detailed and may be difficult for someone without experience. The steel pull-out head might be heavy for the young or the elderly.

Functionality: 5/5

Installation of the Kraus KPF-2110 was a quality experience. Upon opening the box, you’ll find the stainless steel base and spray head are neatly arranged in velvet bags. This attention-to-detail and the weighty feel of the solid steel parts immediately created an air of quality. Nothing about this faucet feels cheap.

All installation supplies are included—along with a stainless steel long-socket tool. Many other manufacturers provide a cheap, plastic tool that you end up loathing half-way through installation. This faucet is also single-hole mounted, which makes installation less of a chore.

Installation is a little tricky. The instructions are picture-based without much clarification. If you’re the average ‘do-it-yourselfer’ you shouldn’t have much of a problem. But if this is your first foray into faucet installation you’ll probably want to find someone with experience, or at least a knack for putting things together.

This faucet has a dual-function button that allows you to toggle between a focused high-power stream and a lighter, more cone-shaped spray. Whether you toggle the button to stream or spray, it will stay that way until you press the button again. This, however, will pose a problem when you forget to switch modes and hold a plate too close to the faucet while turning it on—you’ll get a nice splash.

Once assembled, you’ll notice that the angle of the water stream isn’t directly downward. The stream may splash against the front of your sink if it’s a small sink. If you have a medium-sized sink or larger, the angled stream is actually a positive feature and the splash-back from the stream will instead be directed back towards the sink rather than a down-ward stream which tends to spray everywhere.

A single-lever design is convenient and won’t have you expending too much effort to balance your hot and cold water.

Overall, the Kraus KPF-2110 has all the functionality anyone should need. Once you get used to the dual-function button and the flow-rate, you’re not likely to have any hiccups.

Style: 5/5

The KPF-2110 has a complete stainless steel finish and will match any modern or transitional kitchen. My favorite thing about stainless steel is that it’s a neutral color, and goes well with any color scheme. The smooth clean shape of the faucet and handle produce a very sleek effect.

The sleek curved edges make this faucet extremely easy to clean. There are no hard-to-reach areas in the KPF-2110’s design.

Durability: 5/5

As already stated, this faucet is made of solid stainless steel parts. It is a very heavy-duty faucet, that, compared to similarly-priced plastic faucets, makes for a high durability rating.

A very common feature for stainless steel faucets is to have a plastic spray head to make maneuvering around your dishes easy. While a stainless steel pull-out head makes it heavier, it also undeniably contributes to this faucets durability factor.

Extras: 5/5

Getting technical, the faucet is built with T-304 steel that is also corrosion and rust-resistant.

The flow rate of this faucet is 1.8 GPM. The KPF-2110 is equipped with a high performance / low flow Neoperl aerator and has an easy-to-clean rubber nozzle in the spray-head.

A 120-degree swivel range is more than enough for any residential sink.

Warranty and Repair: 5/5

This faucet has a limited lifetime warranty. Defects due to material or craftsmanship error are covered and Kraus will provide replacement parts. Kraus also has a good reputation for customer service. As previously stated, this faucet is also corrosion and rust-resistant.

You won’t need to worry about getting a new faucet for a long time.

Our Overall Rating: 5/5

KRAUS isn’t the most widely-known brand for faucets. The manufacturer looks to makes up for this by offering a premium product for a lower price than major brands already established in the market. It’s a successful strategy, as reviews for the KPF-2110 are unanimously high.

This is a quality faucet, and it’s built to last.
